Bank Holiday Weekend update.
I haven’t really done much since the last update, I don’t know why, I feel I’ve stitched a lot but haven’t got much to show!
Made some progress on Hannah Richards. The band of orange and green took forever to complete, a good 2 evenings worth of stitching. I’ve got the hang of the pattern now though so at least I don’t have to keep checking the chart all the time.
I also started Pinker and Punkin freebie Katie Anne’s Saltbox. The colour palette she chose is stunning.
I also started All Hallows’ Eve, in beads! I’m not sure who the designer is as when I printed it out there was no designer details on it. Just done a Google search and drew a blank. I will edit in the details if I find them. You can’t tell from the pic but the fabric is a lovely bright purple it looks great with the black beads.
I’ve finally framed BBD Sunflower House that I finished last year. Frame from Skelf Frames.
I have FFOd another freebie, this was with the Heart in Hands newsletter last year. My first time doing this style of finishing ( where you see all around and then slit the backing fabric, turn through and then cover the slit with wool felt) I used glow in the dark trims on the back.My purchases.
Love Arts and Designs, if you only order charts it’s free postage.
The books cost £2.20 for the miniatures and £5.70 for the sampler from Abe Books, that was including postage. Both are great books. The tortoise fabric is from EBay as I have a baby tortoise Lancelot so I buy anything tortoise related :)
